Recent Safety Advisory Services health & safety projects

Pattack Hydro Electric Scheme

The dam pictured here is one of the largest of its kind to be constructed in recent years in Scotland. It is part of the Pattack Hydro Electric Scheme which is a 2Mw scheme with a single intake incorporating the reinforced concrete dam and a 6.5 km pipeline to the Power House.

The location is the Ardverikie Estate in the Central Highlands of Scotland.

Dumfries House Walled Garden

In many ways the flagship project of the Dumfries House Estate restoration, the five-acre walled garden is one of the biggest in Scotland and features a unique 12-metre drop from north to south. The garden has been restored from a derelict dumping site to a magnificent garden with a mixture of terraces, greenhouses, formal areas and a one and a half acre Education Garden.

Safety Advisory Services played a key role in ensuring health and safety on the project during the construction phase, resulting in the project being completed accident and incident free and on time.

Blair Castle Land Rover International Horse Trials

Safety Advisory Services have been involved in the Blair Castle Land Rover International Horse Trials for over 15 years, providing pre-event services as well as attendance throughout the event.
